Teressa DiAndrea
Teressa joined the Playschool Family in 2018. From the moment she and her son walked into the classroom, they knew they were home. They attended Art & Play and Playschool, and Teressa began teaching at the school in 2020.
Teressa has been a preschool teacher in play-based programs since 2005 and she holds a Master of Arts in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College. She also loves working with adults, and supporting parent co-teachers at Playschool has been a joy.
Teressa believes that children learn best when they are engaged in meaningful, hands-on exploration, within a caring, supportive community. She is inspired by the work of child development theorists, including John Dewey, Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, Maria Montessori, the schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and many, many more!
